Platelet Club arranges platelet donors when there is a requirement. Platelet Club arranges blood donors for rare blood groups when there is a blood requirement. Platelets are critically important to the survival of many patients with clotting problems, dengue, aplastic anemia, leukemia, cancer, and patients who will undergo organ transplants or major surgeries like heart “bypass” grafts. While Blood Donation is known by many donors, platelet donation still remains a mystery. To solve this, Platelet Club arranges awareness programs to impart the importance of such donations.
